It is sad to see that Mel succumbed to a divorce (and had an affair while married). The one nice thing (there are others you know) about the Catholic church, especially the "old-school" one Mel is part of, is that they view marriage as a Sacrament. I gues "viewing it" that way and actually "living" it out are two things. One thing that always hits home with me when my pastor says it. He says, "I know professors whos truggel with life, these guys often times have doctorates and teach the Bible... it isn't about learning more Bible verses, its about applying what you do know."
