Yeah, But Is It Poisonous?

I was listening to Dennis Prager today and he had the author of Bottlemania on, Elizabeth Royte. There were a few calls here and there, but no one really asked the question I wanted to ask her, which is:

Is there a filter system, such a Britta or another system that removes fluoride from tap water?

Why fluoride? You may ask. It is simple, I think we ingest too much of it on a daily basis... as it is put in many items. Baby toothpaste is not fluoridated for a reason. The warning label in fact on toothpaste reads as follows:

What is a “serving size” then? The serving size would contain about a quarter-milligram of fluoride in it... that is about what is in an 8oz glass of water. Do you see where this is leading? Too much “stuff” for your body to deal with. I invite you to watch the following two videos, if you are interested any further, stop by my other site, The Drinking Hole, where you can find a bit more info on it by rooting around. I can mention one site here however that I highly recommend, it is called No Fluoride. You must remember however, that I do not support all the conspiratorial views out there about the intentional poisoning of persons by some secret kabal, my concerns are that we didn’t know as much about fluoride when it was allowed into products then we do now. Now it has turned into a multi-billion dollar industry, like anything else (the abortion industry comes to mind) they will fight to keep the denaro coming in:

As detailed in this ABC News Story, over 600 (now over 1,200) professionals are urging Congress to stop water fluoridation until Congressional hearings are conducted. They cite new scientific evidence that fluoridation, long promoted to fight tooth decay, is ineffective and has serious health risks. Signers include a Nobel Prize winner, three members of the prestigious 2006 National Research Council (NRC) panel that reported on fluoride’s toxicology, two officers in the Union representing professionals at EPA headquarters, the President of the International Society of Doctors for the Environment, and hundreds of medical, dental, academic, scientific and environmental professionals, worldwide. (First aired: August 9, 2007)

By-the-by, I asked the author the same question and she got back to me right away, her answer was:

Hi - thanks for your note and for listening to that interview. I believe a Doulton ceramic filter removes fluoride, as will a reverse osmosis unit.

All best,

Elizabeth

Good to know!
