Living in the Past

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I found the video below while I wa

s traveling around the Left side of the Internet today ( e.g., Gender, Race, and Power )… and I can say that this is the best reason to avoid the draft. We want men and women in the Armed Services that want to be their. Not a bunch of dope smoking hippies that have more in common with San Francisco mores than the historic stand many took to curb the country-after-country downfall to communism (something GRP likes/liked). Obviously there is a WARNING for GRAPHIC LANGUAGE here because, well, wherever there are liberals there is usually fowl language.

In this sneak preview of the Left’s inside view of the war we get to see Jane “Hanoi-Hilton” Fonda, and a few other persons, even some footage of the anti-war veterans throwing their medals onto the Capital steps. Of course we know that many of these “Vietnam vets” were frauds, just like the many today speaking out against the Iraq war. We also know that it only takes a grain of rice to get one of those medals… speaking of which… John Kerry threw his medals that day, but years later he still had them? The question is, who’s medals did he throw that day?

At any rate, enjoy (not really) the video. If you are looking for a book or two to settle why we were in Vietnam, look for these books:

  • Vietnam, The Necessary War, by Michael Lind;

  • and, Why We Were There, by Norman Podhoretz.
