The president will outline the plan to pass the bill, including having the House of Representatives pass the Democratic Senate health care reform legislation as well as a second bill containing various “fixes.” He will say that if Republicans refuse to allow and up or down vote in the Senate on the fixes to the bill, Democrats will use the reconciliation rules. He will argue these rules are perfectly appropriate because the procedure is not being used for the whole bill, just for some fixes; because reconciliation rules are traditionally used for deficit reduction and health care reform will reduce the deficit; and because the reconciliation process has been used many times by Republicans for larger legislation such as the tax cuts pushed by President George W. Bush.

All this is to say that mainstreaming homosexuality in order to feed some acceptance syndrome by 2% of the population is not a wise thing to do... in my humble opinion.

A Washington, D.C., inaugural week event that originally was described in an e-mail as a "pig sex" event has been confirmed by a homosexual publication as opponents ask the public health department to investigate the threats from the sex activities that apparently will take place

WND reported the event was planned at a Washington hotel for three days culminating with Tuesday's inauguration for President-elect Barack Obama. The first report came from Peter LaBarbera at Americans for Truth about Homosexuality, who obtained the information via e-mail from a source within the homosexual community.

"This Maneuvers is a PRIVATE and INVITATION-ONLY event. It will be held at the nearby Doubletree Hotel, located at 1515 Rhode Island Avenue NW. Go to the Second Floor, which is where all the Convention Rooms are," said the instructions.

While hotel managers repeatedly have denied any such event is being held, a reporter for the Washington Blade confirmed in his report the plans for a "leather S&M party" at the hotel this weekend.

The Blade report said Larry Barat of Mid-Atlantic Leather (M.A.L.) Weekend confirmed a group that is co-sponsoring the organization's convention is holding the event, and he described it to the Blade as a "play party."

He said there are several such events scheduled. And he confirmed to the Blade the hotel is maintaining is support for the party.

The original e-mail about the event said, "We've now got a KILLER line up of DEMOS, including super skilled rope bondage, sounds play, and flogging. LIVE Music and Sound is gonna be provided by THE BLACK PARTY DJ Rich King. So you can s---, fist, rim, and [f---] TO THE BEAT."

Among a variety of features were "a bondage cross," "a flogging station" and "rimming stations." LaBarbera said the references to "fist" and "rim" refer to specific homosexual behaviors, which he explains graphically on his website.

"Doors open at 10 p.m. and will close at 12 midnight. No admission after 12. Play continues until 4am. …" said the e-mail.

The requirements, AFTAH said, included, "Masculine, friendly, and ready to play. Spectators who wanna run their mouths and socialize are not welcome at this event. We are here to enjoy the company of MEN."

The online Urban Dictionary defines "pig sex" as "outrageously dirty such as water spots, defecation, male on male bondage, group-sex and bestiality," although there was no indication that this event would involve animals.

LaBarbera said the hotel originally confirmed to him M.A.L. Maneuvers booked three second-floor conference rooms for three days, which starting with Saturday night's events would culminate on inauguration day, Tuesday.

LaBarbera has included graphic descriptions of the proposed activities on his website, but readers are warned of the offensive nature of the descriptions.

He also included a telephone number for the Doubletree Hotel, encouraging people to urge the Hilton chain, which owns the site, "to get out of the perversion business altogether." The events reportedly are being held in concert with the annual "Mid-Atlantic Leather Weekend," three days of sadomasochistic celebration in Washington.

However, hotel officials made several statements to various callers denying that the event was being held. There was no response to multiple WND messages and e-mails requesting a comment. ....
