Support Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean

I just had Joe Loya, the father-in-law of Border Patrol Agent Ignacio "Nachos" Ramos, on the show. Ignacio and Agent Compean are our two young men who confronted a fleeing illegal alien drug smuggler, shot him in the fight that ensued as they pursued him, and were maliciously prosecuted by our government for their actions.

I know it sounds insane, but this is exactly what happened. They have been condemned to 11 and 12 -year sentences for doing their job, which commence on January 17. The illegal alien drug smuggler, in the meantime, was given immunity for his testimony against our agents.

Time is short, and there is much to do. First, donate to help Agent Ramos' family with their living expenses and Nachos' defense. His wife and 3 children have lost their home, and his in-laws have spent their retirement savings, You can donate via paypal directly to the family at Joe Loya's website.

There will also be rallies around the country on January 13 in support of the agents, details of which are also at Joe's site.

Here are some stories which will give you further background on what has happened to our Border Patrol heroes.
