New Wine -- Here It Is: Judge Not the Annointed (Crowder & Dunn)

Adapted quote: "Do not debate others about our movement, get off the blogs, get off the chat rooms..." We are called "Heresy Hunters," just like the Word Faith teachers who call those who judge doctrine. Underneath this video is another video of Ben Dunn and the failed attempt to witness to two Jewish young men. What a loss of an opportunity. If you watch the mannerisms of these two guys, you can tell they think these guys are a joke... I concur.

"Pee-Pee Miracle" -- The False Miracles of Dunn and Crowder

I am waiting for a reply in regards to this "miracle" from a medical doctor that goes to our church, I will post his reply when it comes.

Here is the promised correspondence with a friend who is a Professor of Medicine, well, I will let him say who he is:

I asked this question:

The question is this: what would happen to a person if they couldn't pee/urinate at all for 6-months? I know, it sounds odd, but so is the movement I am blogging about.

Hi Sean,

... with regards to your first question - if someone doesn't urinate for 6 months usually they are dead. The bottom line is - they either have a urinary outlet obstruction or their kidneys have completely failed and make no urine at all. In the former case, obstruction will lead to renal failure due to the increased back pressure on the system. Anyhow, without intervention - renal failure and inability to urinate will lead to volume overload in your entire body as well as multiple electrolye abnormalities the most common is elevated serum potassium which often leads to fatal cardiac arrhythmias. I hope this helps.

My title is "Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine, UCLA".

UPDATE: Caution, this video has a language warning, but I couldn't pass it up (I know, its the heathen in me).

Hypnosis Is the "Name of the Game," People Fall (Literally) For This Stuff

It is about just as deep and meaningful as this prayer:

Chasers and Kenneth Copeland and crew:

Bad Exegesis and Theology - John Crowder's "Christmas Myrrh - The Jesus Trip"

John Crowder, Ben Dunn, and Todd Bentley -- Bad "Drunken" Theology (& possible demonic connections)

One of the key phrases I got out of this is that, to quote Crowder, (at about 2:20 in), that "Jesus died so you could be happy." This is just bad Christian theology as well as praxology. Yes, we are suppose to live above our circumstances and in the promises of Scripture, but Jesus died not for our happiness, but for so much more than our current subjective, finite, feelings.

There are three other videos at this persons site of the Russian guy and some of his friends getting a little bit of "the drunken glory," so called, but this is the main video I wish to highlight here in getting it known. I am downloading it just in case it "disappears" from the hands of the critics. There are other videos that i wish to highlight here... they are shorter and show more "drunken glory" (what they consider "revival") that has its roots ultimately in the Word Faith movement and "Holy Laughter."

Crowder "Raps"

In this "rap"/"song," Ben Dunn tells sickness and cancer to leave the body while a gal does the robot:

Ben Dunn here shows his note from a doctor that lets authorities in airports and other authorities know that Jeff breaks out in religious ecstasy, the "drunken glory." He also teaches some bad theology and displays some "drunken glory" and a bad version of tongues. Third world countries and peoples lives are also referred to as "garbage dumps." We are suppose to be "whacked," just in case you didn't know.

And last but not least, here is Crowder talking about being in two places at once. This is the height of the postmodern movements rejection of logic. This is a great display of the marrying of bad theology and praxology with the rejection of truth. False healings and miracles are mentioned as well:

Soaking Prayer & Contemplative Prayer -- Really Avenues for Altered States of Consciousness

I wish to thank the Museum of Idolatry for driving me to post on this topic.

Some people think this is new, Soaking Prayer. May I posit that New Age adherents have been doing this long before Christians... thus, making this practice non-Christian, and related to Eastern meditation before it is related to Scripture.

Soaking Prayer Service (700 Club)

These types of non-discerning applications of prayer, faith, and spiritual encounters have led many to follow Eastern philosophy and new age doctrines as something that is Scripturally acceptable. For example: the first “expert” on “contemplative prayer” shown in the DVD Be Still, is a person who in the first edition of his book Celebration of Discipline, that Christians should have “out-of-body” experiences:

"[I]n your imagination allow your spiritual body, shining with light, to rise out of your physical body. Look back so that you can see yourself lying in the grass and reassure your body that you will return momentarily ... Go deeper and deeper into outer space until there is nothing except the warm presence of the eternal Creator. Rest in His presence."

These types of non-discernment lead to people inviting spirit guides (i.e. demons) into their lives and end up like this guy:
